Dear Lord #38 (Morning Prayer)

Updated: Jul 11, 2023

Dear Lord

(#38)(Morning Prayer)

The greatest act of love is in the very thought of our Lord Almighty.

Through prayer, life debilitating fears manifested by self dissipate into space—

Whereupon the Holy Spirit anoints thy soul with fire:

and,

liken to inverted rainbows, stubborn smiles arise to meet the heavens

as outspread arms extend to finger tips destined to be whisked away by golden

star points— Thine eyes, they too will weep and well over with tears drawn

from unfathomable depths:

(a kind of deluge of life experiences not always consecrated by God.)

O Great Mystery, Heavenly Father, on this blessed morning

I kneel before your creation and rejoice in the Son of Man

whose light is ablaze with salvation!

Alleluia. Alleluia! Praise God!

Alleluia.
